I think saying the verbal marker before moving the hand is everyone's struggle, especially at first! I just said the same thing to Molly & Oona: You can see that the jumpiness is not an issue of impulse control, because of how awesome their stay-walk-around's are. It's a communication/expectation thing. It's about Bessie (and Oona!) interpreting (cookie loaded) hand movement as a cue to get up, because of hand movement coming before the marker. Slow down and put a very deliberate pause between your word and your movement. It will feel silly at first. (It's not how humans usually communicate!) Check out Molly's thread, "Oona - front/circle now with slower 'get it.'"
Overall, wonderful job. Bessie does a super clean job of getting into position without needing more than a single cue.
