Eye Contact Away From Food
Front Foot Targeting
Tear Drop Wrap (This one was pretty hard for us. He Kept swinging his butt out to the side or trying to sit in front of me. He also doesn't want to be right against me at my side, should we fix this?)

More Level 3 HW : Sit/ Down in heel & Front in motion
I realize as I train with him more that I need to pause with my mark and then hand movement, I think I rush myself a lot with his training. I hope this is a little better lol
Eye contact away from food and foot targeting - Excellent! I see great comprehension of these skills.
I want you to pay attention and try hard to put a pause between your mark and your hand movement. It will feel unnatural at first, but think of yourself like a robot.
*Stay still*
"Dive"
1 second pause
THEN throw the cookie
Practice with skills that he knows (like this eye contact and foot targeting) so that you can focus on your own mechanics without being distracted by training something new.
Feel free to show me you practicing either of these skills again, focusing on these timing and mechanics instructions.
Why does this matter?
If you don't put that pause in, you will start to see him be jumpy and confused about certain motions from your hands. Because, if you don't mark BEFORE the movement, the dog starts to be hyper vigilant about your movement, looking for certain body language to be the predictor of what reward sequence is about to happen.
Teardrop and wrap finishes - good!
In regards to his heel position being a little wide: Feed more to the left. You can even turn his head to the left, in order to lure his body in closer to you.
You can also use standing next to a wall to get him in closer to you.
