More baby steps. We have been practicing since Sunday. This was a very hot day and she was pretty distracted. We are creating more value (is that right) in standing heel after my obsessive work on sit wrap finish.
I need to work on keeping her closer to me though with barriers. Videos in comments.
Lovely! This is wonderful. Keep up the good work. Her understanding of where to be looks really nice.
I would like to see her not dip her head when stepping forward, but as she’s only doing it sometimes, I’m thinking it may be related to chewing and might just smooth out on its own.
I tried to pay attention the the head but I’m wondering if part of it is me? I was not sure where to put my hands — behind my back or in front on my belly — so she might have been confused be me?
Could I be doing something to avoid head dip? My guess was to not try baby steps and keep doing it in place for a bit longer so she is always keeping the head up for cookies?
I think her understanding of head up in stationary heel looks good. The dipping while chewing is totally normal (unless you’re Cupid), and she always brings her head back up pretty promptly.

Pivot into heel: Absolutely beautiful, as usual. She's been ahead of the game with pivoting.
Baby steps in heel: Good job, but we want to work on her following the leg, not the hand.
Go back and watch the video example for this exercise. We want this:
Feed in stationary heel, hand going behind back in between feeding
Hand is behind back
Step forward one step
Oona steps forward
Mark & hand quickly comes out to feed
Repeat 1-5
Show me that 😁
